Paul Reaston

Paul started work with GE Jones & Co (which later became CE Smith & Co Mackay) in April 1974. With over 35 years in public practice he’s a Registered Tax Agent and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia (FTIA) & a Fellow of the Association of Taxation & Management Accountants (FTMA).

Paul is married to Karen, has 4 adult children and five grandchildren.

Suzanne Grima

Suzanne has worked for CE Smith and Co continually since 1995, barring a short hiatus where she took some time to start a family.  She initially started in a reception role before commencing university studies in accountancy.  Suzanne earned her Bachelor of Business (Accounting) with distinctions whilst working full-time and soon after having her first child commenced her CPA studies.  She was admitted as a Certified Practicing Accountant in April 2008.

Angela Fussell

Angela has been with the firm since January 1998, commencing her employment with us in reception and managing our branch of Wide Bay Capricorn Building Society. She quickly showed aptitude for accounting and consequently her role changed to accounting. Studying externally to obtain her bachelor of business degree, majoring in accounting she then went on to complete her qualification as a Chartered Accountant, being admitted as a member in December 2004.

Michael Hayles

Michael commenced with CE Smith & Co in July 2005 and has been in public practice for over 10 years. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and is a qualified CPA. He’s the chairman of the Mackay branch of the CPA’s which ensures he is up to date with all taxation and accounting matters.

Tanya Douglas

Tanya has been with CE Smith since March 2003 previously working in public practice in Airlie Beach. Tanya holds a Bachelor of Business Degree with an Accounting Major and has also qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Tanya’s experience includes almost a decade in public practices specialising in tax.

Beth McKenzie

Beth commenced work in Public Practice in 1978 in Bundaberg and moved to Townsville before coming back home to Mackay in 1981 where she worked for 10 years before taking some time off to travel.  She obtained her Bachelor of Business through Central Queensland University, Rockhampton Campus and has been a member of CPA Australia for 30 years. She has been with by CE Smith & Co  Mackay since 2002.
